Alka Bhrushundi’s ‘Athaha’ does not merely contemplate infinity; it constructs it.

In her works, blue is not a backdrop to devotion but a spatial field in which matter, energy, and consciousness appear suspended. The paintings move between vortex and void, between cellular intricacy and cosmic scale. Spirals open like primordial galaxies. Orb-like forms hover as if embryonic worlds. Vein-like calligraphic tracings pulse across surfaces, suggesting neural networks, river deltas, or unseen cosmological diagrams. The language is abstract, yet unmistakably organic.

The artist’s earlier engagement with devotional figuration has not disappeared; it has evolved. What once required an image now unfolds as vibration. The divine is no longer personified but diffused, circulating through colour, texture, and atmosphere. Blue dominates, but it is not singular. It deepens into indigo, fractures with rusted orange, glows with quiet gold. It carries both immersion and combustion.

There is a compelling tension in these works: density and lightness coexist. Feathers drift across turbulent grounds. Gold fissures cut through planetary masses. Mist veils intricate structures beneath. The compositions feel simultaneously microcosmic and macrocosmic; as if we are witnessing the inside of a cell and the birth of a universe in the same breath.

‘Athaha’ proposes infinity not as escape, but as interior expansion. These paintings ask the viewer to recalibrate scale, to consider that vastness may reside within the smallest pulse of awareness. In an era of distraction and speed, this work insists on sustained looking. It resists narration and instead offers immersion.

Infinity here is not decorative mysticism. It is a disciplined exploration of energy, stillness, and threshold. Stand before these works long enough, and the boundary between outer cosmos and inner landscape begins to thin.

मुम्बई.  बॉलीवुड मे आजकल कंटेंट सिनेमा और कुछ हटकर फ़िल्में बनाने की होड़ लगी हुई है. हनीमूनाय नमः भी एक ऐसी ही फिल्म है जो न केवल अपने टाइटल के अनुरूप अलग है बल्कि कहानी भी रोचक है. दरअसल “हनीमूनाय नमः” एक सटायरिकल फ़िल्म है जो समाज में फैली राजनीतिक मौकापरस्ती और जनता की सीधी-सादी सोच को हास्य के ज़रिए दिखाने की कोशिश करती है।

फिल्म की कहानी उत्तराखंड के एक किसान के बेटे मोना की  है, जिसकी शादी पड़ोस के गाँव की लड़की वर्षा से होने वाली है। वह अपने दोस्त, जो अमेरिका में रहता है, को शादी में बुलाता है। दोस्त, आने में असमर्थता जताते हुए, मोना को हनीमून की रस्म ठीक से मनाने की सलाह देता है। इससे पहले कि मोना हनीमून के बारे में और जानकारी माँग पाता, नेटवर्क चले जाने की वजह से कॉल कट जाता है। मोना के लिए एक प्रॉब्लम खड़ी होती है: यह “हनीमून की रस्म” असल में क्या है और इसे कैसे मनाया जाता है? उसके दोस्तों को भी नहीं पता; गाँव में किसी को भी इसके बारे में नहीं पता। जब यह बात मोना की माँ तक पहुँचती है, तो इसका रूप और भी ज़्यादा बदल चुका होता है। पुजारी से पूछने पर पता चलता है कि उसे भी इस रस्म के बारे में कुछ नहीं पता। अब क्या किया जाए? यह बात दुल्हन के परिवार तक पहुंच जाती है। उन्हें पता चलता है कि अगर दूल्हे की हनीमून की रस्म नहीं की गई, तो शादी के बाद दुल्हन की मां मर सकती है, इसलिए वे शादी से मना कर देते हैं। पंचायत बुलाई जाती है, लेकिन पंचायत में भी किसी को इस रस्म के बारे में पता नहीं होता। सब अपने-अपने तरीके से इस पर चर्चा करने लगते हैं। हनीमून की रस्म पूरे राज्य के लिए एक मुद्दा बन जाती है। इसका फ़ायदा उठाकर, परंपरा पार्टी मोना के पिता को एमएलए का कैंडिडेट बनाती है, और सेक्युलर पार्टी वर्षा के पिता को कैंडिडेट बनाती है। मोना परेशान है क्योंकि शादी का टॉपिक इस अफ़रा-तफ़री में पूरी तरह से खो गया है। फ़िल्म कई दिलचस्प और मज़ेदार पलों से गुज़रती है, जो कॉमेडी के ज़रिए हमारे समाज के कई पहलुओं को दिखाती है। यह हमारे समाज में मौजूद पारंपरिक सोच, अंधविश्वास और मासूमियत को दिखाती है।

A prestigious ceremony titled “Rashtra Nirman Udyog Samman 2026”, dedicated to honouring entrepreneurs who have made significant contributions to the nation’s economic and social development, was successfully held on 16 February 2026 in Bhosari, Pune. भोजपुरी सिनेमा के जाने माने फ़िल्म निर्माता रत्नाकर कुमार जब भी किसी फिल्म का निर्माण करते हैं तो वह आम फिल्मों से अलग होती है और समाज को जागरूक करने वाले मैसेज भी देती है। इसी कड़ी में रत्नाकर कुमार ने निर्देशक अनंजय रघुराज निर्देशन में भोजपुरी फिल्म ‘उमा’ का निर्माण करके मिसाल कायम किया है। इस फ़िल्म में केंद्रीय भूमिका में भोजपुरी फ़िल्म इंडस्ट्री की बेस्ट एक्ट्रेस माही श्रीवास्तव हैं, जिन्होंने टाइटल रोल निभाया है। वो गाँव की साधारण परिवेश में पली बढ़ी लड़की के रूप में नजर आ रही हैं, जिनका विवाह बाल्यावस्था में ही हो जाता है और मैच्योर होने पर किसी कारणवश तलाक की नौबत आ जाती है। माही श्रीवास्तव कोर्ट में अपने हक की लड़ाई लड़ते हुए नजर आती हैं और गांव समाज में ताने देने वालों का को मुंहतोड़ जवाब भी देती है। इस ट्रेलर में एक्टर रितेश उपाध्याय सिंपल विलेज ब्वॉय के रूप में दिख रहे हैं। जिनका विवाह बचपन में ही माही हुआ था। यह एक फैमिली ड्रामा से भरपूर सम्पूर्ण पारिवारिक फिल्म है। इस फ़िल्म का ट्रेलर देखकर लग रहा है कि देश-विदेश में बहुत सारा अवार्ड जीतने वाली फिल्म जया का रिकॉर्ड तोड़ेगी। जिस प्रकार से जया बनकर माही श्रीवास्तव ने नारी के हक की आवाज उठाकर बेस्ट अभिनेत्री का खिताब हासिल किया है। उसी प्रकार इस फिल्म ‘उमा’ से भी माही श्रीवास्तव सबका ध्यान अपनी ओर आकर्षित कर रही है।
