एएएफटी विश्वविद्यालय के बहुमुखी सम्मानित चांसलर और इंटरनेशनल चैंबर ऑफ मीडिया एंड एंटरटेनमेंट इंडस्ट्री (आईसीएमईआई) के अध्यक्ष डॉ. संदीप मारवाह ने “८ इयर्स ऑफ मोदी सरकार- ए कंपाइलेशन ऑफ अचीवमेंट्स” पुस्तक की पहली प्रति पूर्व राष्ट्रपति श्री राम नाथ कोविंद को भेंट की। यह प्रस्तुति विश्व प्रेस स्वतंत्रता दिवस और बुद्ध पूर्णिमा दिवस की पूर्व संध्या पर हुई, जिससे यह एक शुभ अवसर बन गया।
आईसीएमईआई द्वारा प्रकाशित पुस्तक, पिछले आठ वर्षों में मोदी सरकार की उपलब्धियों का दस्तावेजीकरण करती है। सरकार के कार्यों और कार्यप्रणाली के प्रलेखन में यह एक आवश्यक योगदान है। इसे संकलित करने में आईसीएमईआई के व्यवस्थित प्रयास सराहनीय हैं। यह पुस्तक शोधकर्ताओं, नीति निर्माताओं और पिछले आठ वर्षों में सरकार के काम को समझने में रुचि रखने वाले किसी भी व्यक्ति के लिए एक मूल्यवान संसाधन है।
डॉ. संदीप मारवाह ने पूर्व राष्ट्रपति श्री कोविंद जी को पुस्तक भेंट करने पर प्रसन्नता व्यक्त की, जिन्होंने संकलन में किए गए प्रयासों की सराहना की। उन्होंने प्रेस की स्वतंत्रता के महत्व और जनता तक सूचना प्रसारित करने में मीडिया की भूमिका के बारे में भी बताया।
“८ इयर्स ऑफ मोदी सरकार- ए कंपाइलेशन ऑफ अचीवमेंट्स” पुस्तक को पूरा करने में हमें कुछ महीने लगे। मैं व्यक्तिगत रूप से आईसीएमईआई के कर्मचारियों को उनके पूर्ण समर्थन के लिए आभारी हूं और इशिता शुक्ला को रंगीन तरीके से जानकारी को डिजाइन करने के लिए विशेष धन्यवाद देता हूं।” डॉ मारवाह ने कहा।

Mumbai, May 12, 2023 –  With the onset of summer and rising temperatures, Vedanta’s The Animal Care Organization (TACO) together with Climate Warrior launched a water bowl challenge along with a walkathon for the welfare of the city’s stray animals. The event, which saw the participation of over 650 people, was inaugurated by actor Bhumi Pednekar, also the founder of Climate Warrior, and Priya Agarwal Hebbar, Non-Executive Director, Vedanta and Anchor, TACO.  Hosted at the Father Agnel Ashram in Bandra, the event brought together animal lovers, particularly students, from the city to build awareness on the need for an ecosystem of well-being for all animals.

As part of the water bowl challenge, the participants were encouraged to place water-feeding bowls for stray animals and birds. In addition, an animal health camp by a group of veterinarians was also conducted to offer health check-ups to strays and pets. Bhumi Pednekar, a champion for several social causes, was seen interacting and motivating the participants throughout the walk. The cause was also supported by Agnel Education & Social Development Foundation and TACO’s implementation partner, YODA (Youth in Defence of Animals).

Expressing her delight on this noble initiative, Priya Agarwal Hebbar, Anchor, TACO, said “We are thrilled to see young animal lovers pour out in large numbers today for the TACO Water Bowl Challenge and Walkathon. The ‘Water Bowl Challenge’ is aimed at encouraging people to provide drinking water and food to stray animals and birds, during the rising temperatures. As part of this initiative, participants are invited to take part in a challenge on social media wherein they will post a selfie with the feeding bowl, tagging TACO, and nominate their acquaintances to take the challenge forward by posting similar pictures while feeding strays and /or with water bowls. The objective of this challenge is to inspire everyone to exhibit kindness and compassion towards animals and birds while creating awareness about the cause.

During the recent dreaded COVID-19, our squad members distributed water and ration to several hundreds of people every day all across the country.”
