Mumbai, India – From December 3rd to 9th, the Nehru Centre Art Gallery will bloom with the evocative artistry of Mahua Ray in her solo exhibition Ana’s Spring Forth. This unique art walk invites visitors to immerse themselves in a world where memory, emotion, and imagination entwine in vivid harmony through her mesmerizing paintings and sculptures.

This exhibition is a testament to her growth, passion, and unwavering dedication to storytelling through art.

Singer NAINA CHOUDHARY : I am a versatile artist with a passion for poetry, music, and visual arts. My  journey began as a celebrated poet in my hometown, where my work resonated with audiences. As an accomplished painter, I had the honor of exhibiting my art  at Kolkata Academy of Fine Arts,  as well as in China, Japan, and South Korea.

My creative pursuits extend beyond poetry and painting. I am a songwriter and composer, and my compositions have garnered widespread appreciation. I have performed in Kolkata, U.P and other region, captivating audiences with my soulful melodies. Additionally, I founded a charitable institute for underprivileged children, organizing programs since 2010 to uplift their spirits and provide them with opportunities.

2012. ANUP JALOTA. (born July 29 1953) is an Indian Singer, musician and actor, best known for his contribution to the Bhajan genre of the Indian music. He is popularly known as the “Bhajan Samraat” The Padma Shri was awarded to him by the Government of Indian in 2012. He was a contestant on the reality show Big Boss 12

DILIP SEN, (born December 1, 1965) the musical maestro from Mumbai, has had a hand in shaping Bollywood’s golden years. RAMESH GOYAL, (born January 13, 1957) a prominent figure in the Hindi film industry, has worn many hats as an actor, director, and producer Starting his career in the early 1980s, he has graced the screen in over 100 films. With a career spanning over three decades, he’s made a significant mark in Bollywood.

JAKIR KHAN, is a good actor, comedian, and poet, and he has been awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award by the Indian government.

MOHAN BADGUJAR, is a well-known figure in Mumbai, particularly in the cultural and entertainment sectors. He is the President of the Cultural Department at the ICON Foundation, which is involved in various cultural and social activities in Mumbai.

The 22nd award-honour ceremony organised by Mumbai Global, ‘Hindustan Ratna Award 2024’ was concluded successfully at Mukti Cultural Hub, Model Town, Andheri West, Mumbai. Renowned doctor, artist and social worker of Raipur (Chhattisgarh) Dr Ajay Sahay inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Social worker Abhijeet Rane was the chief guest. Senior playback singer Udit Narayan, actor producer Dheeraj Kumar, writer director Rumi Jafri, actor Deepak Parashar,leena kapoor  and Arjunman Mughal were present as special guests.

This award, given for notable contribution in art, science, social service and other fields. Senior film Publicist, and film producer Puneet Khare was active in the arrangements and events.

Prominent names among the people honored with ‘Hindustan Ratna Award 2024’ are –

Director Neeraj Sahay and R.P. Sharma, pop singer Goldking Baljit Singh and Nitin Rocks, singer actor Nitin Rajput, actor Kamal Malik and Ravi Yadav, actress model Rivika Mani and Kajol Solanki,  Himani Pathak, dance director Neha Kore, model actress Sana Khan, Leena Kapoor, Pooja Pandey, Swagata Bose and model business woman Zaheera Sheikh and Renuka Chougle and business woman and actress Sunita Bawa. Congratulations for bringing Laurels, Tell us more about the award you Crowned recently?

      It is every actor’s dream to get appreciated for their work and to get a state or national award once in their lifetime… and I am glad that I got this chance. And I am happy that I got this opportunity.. it just gives me some confidence and I feel that hard work pays off

How  Would you like to  define this  “Award” in your carrier ?

       I am lucky that even though I am not from a film background, getting good roles is a matter of luck and now after having some work experience, I understand the difference between good and bad, so I want to do some projects in future .For me Performing art and aesthetics is like heart beat,i have Made it very clear that impact full stories need to be painted pompous and crafted for generation.

What are Your upcoming projects?

 I have completed few of Bollywood & Ollywood projects last year, hopefully in this year it releases

Yes, a small appreciation bring a joy of confidence and imparts clear picture to frame in future, but State Award means a lot infact a dream come true moment for any person working on craft since years.I would like to say that everyone should keep working and have patience.. most importantly a positive thought along with an income source

You are known for your acting, dancing skills and Looks what make you feel more impact full on screen?

Yes true that,Thanks for noticing well Acting makes me feel close to emotions, dancing gives me confidence to move on beats ,action is all time favorite infact interesting to perform on screen .

My dedication towards films and art, I worship actually, the satisfaction i get through in acting is not there in anything else.. I enjoy this thing more than anything

Manish Sutaar hails from Mumbai. He had his art education at L.S. School of Arts, Bandra Mumbai upto BFA. Then he displayed his thematic works in numerous leading art galleries in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, New Delhi, New York Biennale, Taipei-Taiwan, etc. He also actively participated in art camps at Hyderabad and Pune. He is a proud recipient of several prizes and awards as well as recognitions from leading art promotional institution of national and international reputations. His works are in collection of many reputed art collectors such as Reserve Bank of India- Mumbai, – New Delhi, Bangalore, Kenya, England, Germany, USA, Paris, New York, Italy etc.

The present series in Water colours on art paper lays emphasis on his journey through life’s canvas as a tapestry of life. These emphasize profound turmoil and fragile beauty which define the human condition so as to highlight diverse complexity of life in a metropolitan city bustling with hustle & bustle resulting into a pulsating lifeline in urban areas,  Safar transcends more transits leading to a profound metaphor of human aspirations, struggles and fleeting moments. Aptly moved by these moments, his artistic mind has found expressions in colours and forms so as to render unique parameter and dimension to his symbolic exploration of existence via various human postures, moods and unusual characters through flowing forms, textured washes and abstract nuances etc. His quest to unveil and articulate the unseen has resulted into a visual harmony of the intricate complexities of human life.  His canvas has become a refuge where chaos transforms into beauty and despair gives way to hope thereby rendering a happy and positive dimension to his thematic work.

His present series is a visual narrative of societal life capturing the essence of everyday existence in rural areas around Vasai from attire to festivities to agricultural practices to the architecture of yesterday. He has been raised since yesteryears amidst the verdant landscapes of Vasai. Blessed with abundant natural beauty, Vasai has instilled in him a deep rooted admiration for nature since young age.  He grew up in a family of farmers there and has happy good old memories of simplicity of life there. He was mesmerised by the traditional peculiarities in rural life such as flowers, lanterns, grinding wheels, rhythmic sound of rahata – old farming implement charm of ancestral homes with their simple yet intricate carvings with mangalore tiles on the top etc.  Through his series, he has endeavoured to immortalize this heritage ensuring that it remains accessible to future generation. This series serves as a visual narrative of the simplicity of life in that picturesque area as a legacy of Vasai.

Director Neeraj Sahai has recently received the Hindustan Ratna Award for the film “UP Files”. The film UP Files is a story based on true events which is the story of the current Chief Minister of UP Yogi Adityanath becoming the Chief Minister and the changes that came in the U.P. Its producer is Kuldeep Umrao Singh. Neeraj Sahai is a well-known director. His first film as a director is “Old is Gold” in which actors like Kader Khan, Asrani, Shakti Kapoor have worked. This is a comedy film. Apart from this, Neeraj Sahai has made films like “Simran, Jab Tak Hai Jaan”. His upcoming film “Black Day and Yeh Jeevan Hai” is ready which will be released soon. His other upcoming projects are the film “Rashtriya Rifles, Vali the Messenger” and a web series.

Neeraj Sahai started his career as an assistant director. Neeraj was the assistant director in many films of director Umesh Mehra like “Yaar Gaddar, Sabse Bada Khiladi, Ye Mohabbat Hai, Koi Mere Dil Mein Hai”, Khiladiyon Ke Khiladi, Qila. He considers director Umesh Mehra as his guru. After that he also worked as an assistant director with director Raman Kumar.

Neeraj Sahai says that he had no film background, he made his mark in the film industry with hard work and skill. He said that Mazhar Khan guided him and he came towards direction because direction is such a work in which the director is present directly or indirectly from the beginning to the end of the film, from an artist to other works. His hard work, his thinking is included in everything. He teaches as well as learns.

Neeraj Sahai said that in the present times the audience has become wise, they give more importance to the content and story of the film than the star cast of the film. If your content is strong then the film will definitely be a hit. Neeraj Sahai is an experienced director, he is excited about his upcoming projects whose content is different and full of newness.

The event emphasised the concept of “Vikashit Bharat” , where every citizen has equal access to opportunities for personal and collective growth, thus the specially abled children were witnessed walking the ramp with the mainstream ones,  together celebrating the spirit of unity and growth !

The esteemed jury comprised of eminent designers like Narendra Kumar ,James Ferriera and Gavin Miguel who selected the participant emitting the BEST LOOK !

This unique initiative of Kamala Trust celebrated FASHION as a medium of expression for everyone , not confined to any single individual, thus motivating the aspiring stars to showcase exemplary skills in a grand platform with beautifully designed attires by the duo local and immensely talented designers of Goa!

While the participants included individuals from various communities vis a vis the visually challenged, deaf and mute , cancer patients ,differently abled and transgender communities, the Trust also presented a graphic segregation of the eras of Hindi Films while honouring NFDC for the evolution of films in India !

Indeed Pillars of Humanity 4.0 set an example of love, harmony and inclusivity standing in solidarity with IFFI Goa 2024 !

The producers of the film are Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar, Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Vimal Lahoti, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl, Raj Shandilya and Vipul D Shah.

अमित गुप्ता ने जान से मारने की मिल रही धमकियों की शिकायत एक पत्र लिखकर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी, राष्ट्रपति, गृह मंत्री अमित शाह, महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे, उपमुख्मंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस, मुंबई पुलिस कमिश्नर, जॉइंट पुलिस कमिश्नर, एडिशनल कमिश्नर ऑफ पुलिस, डीसीपी से की है और एफआईआर दर्ज कराने की मांग कर रहे हैं, उम्मीद है कि जल्दी उनकी एफआईआर दर्ज कर ली जाएगी।

अमित गुप्ता के वकील सुनील शुक्ला (एपेक्स ज्यूरिस एलएलपी के मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर) ने बताया कि अमित गुप्ता के विवाद से संबंधित मेरा यह कहना है कि टी सीरीज ने अमित गुप्ता से सेटलमेंट के लेटर पर साइन करवाकर इस बात को माना है कि यह कहानी अमित गुप्ता द्वारा लिखी गई है। उसी कहानी पर फ़िल्म बनाकर उसे रिलीज़ करके अमित गुप्ता के साथ अन्याय किया गया है। न तो उन्हें मेहनताना दिया गया न फ़िल्म में क्रेडिट मिला।

अमित गुप्ता के कानूनी कार्रवाई शुरू करते ही उनको धमकियों के फोन आने लगे। हो सकता है ये धमकियां अमित गुप्ता को इसलिए दी जा रही हैं ताकी अमित गुप्ता कोर्ट ना जाए और अपना केस वापस ले लें। या फिर इसके पीछे कोई और मकसद है ये तो पुलिस की जांच के बाद ही पता चलेगा।

Her faith in phenomenal nature as the ultimate source of forms and configuration, duly reflects in the creation by selection of the recollected memories of the observed contents as configuration of colour-masses with shapes defined by contour lines on dimensional pictorial surface divided into flat colour areas. These shapes and spaces being the residues of images of the phenomenal terrains, sky, land, roads, plants etc become expressive. The various contour lines with which she encloses the shapely colour masses endow the shapes with a strange kind of organic rhythm thereby rendering expressionism to the work. In a way her works are at a junction between representationalism, formalism and expressionism. She has adopted suggestive colours and common symbols upheld by plastic rhythm and inventive shapes. The insistent flowing vegetative rhythms of semi-abstract and abstract combinations find a significant place in her creations which are both eloquent and lucid as well as thematically relevant.

Hon’ble Minister Jayant Chaudhary emphasized the council’s renewed mandate to address the growing demands and complexities of this vibrant sector, noting, “The Media and Entertainment Skill Council’s (MESC) Governing Council has been strengthened to recognize the vast opportunities and the increasing scale of skill development needed, not only within India but also on an international scale. As the Indian media industry expands and diversifies, this inclusive council, comprising some of the sector’s most influential figures, is committed to aligning its skill development initiatives with the demands of a rapidly evolving industry.” He underscored the importance of a collaborative approach with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), and industry partners, stressing that the Skill Council must collectively ensure that new entrants to the field are fully prepared to meet the challenges posed by a technologically advanced and highly competitive global market.

Hon’ble Minister also highlighted the global opportunities within the media, broadcasting, and AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comics) sectors, noting that with the rising global demand for skilled professionals, India has an unparalleled opportunity to establish itself as a major talent hub. He further acknowledged the government’s commitment to this vision through the AVGC policy, which aims to build capacity, foster an environment that encourages creative innovation, and significantly enhance the employability of India’s youth, propelling the country towards global recognition in this field.

Shri Atul Kumar Tiwari, Secretary, MSDE, affirmed, “Our commitment at the Ministry is to create a robust framework that not only nurtures talent domestically but elevates India’s reputation as a country of skilled professionals, and shub of skill development for global media markets. By integrating industry-driven curricula and skill-based training in educational institutions, we are paving the way for sustainable career paths and economic upliftment for India’s youth. The International Indian Film Tourism Conclave (IIFTC) was held from October 23rd to 25th. Bollywood film producer Akhilesh Pandey has produced several films, web series, short films, and music videos. He is not only a successful producer but also a thriving businessman.
