Mr. Girish Wankhede is known as a man who dons mutiple hats at the same time. He is one of the five achievers who were conferred with the  ‘Jeevan Gaurav Puruskar’ on 22nd April, 2023. The felicitation function was organised by ONGC India to commemorate the 132nd birth anniversary of one of the greatest humanist Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Mr. Girish Wankhede was felicitated by two great personalities whom he respects the most. One of them was Padmashree awardee, noted economist and educationist Mr. Sukhdev Thorat who has been instrumental in making short video Jai Bheem app household name across the country. He is also one of the towering figures in the field of social work and holds immense respect for his valuable contributions towards the society. The other personality who felicitated Mr. Girish Wankhede was filmmaker Mr. Jabbar Patel who needs no introduction as his films based on social awakening and relevant subjects speaks for himself.

Mr. Girish Wankhede was felicitated by ONGC not for his contribution in the field of Media and Entertainment but also for his social work, his helping of marginalised students to get proper education and his effort to popularise short video app Jai Bhim was also recognised and praised at the felicitation function. Other awardees included Mr. Sitaram Gaikwad (education), Mr. Baban Rao Kamble (posthumously-print media), Mr. Bapuji Ramteke (social service), Mr. Shivaji Parudekar (art of making statues) and others. It is needless to say that Mr. Girish Wankhede was ecstatic after receiving the award which he considers as a huge honour bestowed upon him.

Girish Wankhede, Founder and CEO of short video app Jai Bheem, has been instrumental in popularising it among the youth of the country in a very short span of time. The app was started not only for entertainment purposes but which is meant to educate people about social equality and propagate the values laid down by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Last year, the app conducted a contest and took four winning students to Dubai to felicitate them and provided them with the adequate international exposure. Being a philanthropist he has been relentlessly working for the marginalized people of the society. Last year, he had been instrumental in organising 132nd Birth Anniversary related celebrations of Dr. BR Ambedkar at Jamboree Maidan in Worli, Mumbai where thousands of people garhered to celebrate the idea of India propagated by Dr. BR. Ambedkar.

Girish Wankhede is also currently the manager of the India-China Film Society who has been in favour of India-China co-productions. He also attended Beijing International Film Festival and Golden Booster Film Festival in China. He has immense expertise in Indo-China film related business. Mr. Girish Wankhede is also known as the cultural head of Indo-African Chamber of Commerce and Industries who is continuously looking to increase business opportunities among India and the continent of 52 African countries.

Notably, Girish Wankhede has worked in the Entertainment industry for more than two decades. He headed Cinemax-PVR as a marketing head for more than a decade and for the last 7 years he has been running his own company called Entity 1 – Entertainment Solutions Private Limited. The Best Director award for the film ‘Mudda 370 J&K’ went to Bollywood’s renowned director Rakesh Sawant at the hands of Subhash Ghai’s Pardes heroine Mahima Chowdhary. Rakesh Sawant has been awarded the “Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation Award 2023”. The grand ceremony took place on 20th May at Mukesh Patel Auditorium Mumbai where Bollywood actress Mahima Chowdhary was the chief guest who handed over the important trophy to Rakesh Sawant with her own hands. Mudda 370 J&K is the first Indian film in 2023 to win 55 international awards including India, US, Canada, Greece, France, Nepal.

Rakhi Sawant has heartily congratulated her brother for this award. Along with this, Rakesh Sawant is also receiving congratulations and best wishes from many friends and celebrities associated with Bollywood.

Directed by Rakesh Sawant, this film narrates the burning issues of Kashmir and the pain of the exodus from Kashmir. What happened to the love story of a Kashmiri Pandit boy and a Kashmiri Muslim girl because of Article 370? This is shown in the film. Zarina Wahab has played the role of a Kashmiri Pandit for the first time in this. Manoj Joshi played the role of her husband. Singers like Asha Bhosle, Shaan, Palak Muchhal, Asees Kaur, Shahid Mallya, Muddasar Ali gave voice in the film.

After the huge success of Miss & Mrs India Global Queen 2021 & 2022, Dr Neelam Paradia and The Topaz Events organized Miss & Mrs Royal Global Queen 2023, Mr. Royal Global King and Royal Global Achiever Awards Season 3 on 7th May at Club Emerald, Mumbai.

It was a grand and successful event, in which the contestants and celebrities of India, Bangladesh, Canada, Singapore & Iran were present making our message of International & National Integration strong, loud and clear. On this unique concept, Dr Neelam said that we believe in national & international integration. through this program, Dr. Neelam Paradia spread the message of national and international unity, love and harmony as all the participants belonged to different cultures and religions.

It was an international beauty pageant where famous Bollywood actors Aftab Shivdasani and Ali Khan, Bollywood Singer Ali Quli Mirza and our Brand ambassador Actress Jyoti Yadav were also present. Dr Neelam Paradia said that when the cause is good, people also join. When we told Aftab Shivdasani that we were doing this event for a social cause that would benefit the Handicapped Trust, he immediately agreed to grace the occasion with his presence and support the noble cause. She thanks him from the bottom of her heart for his generosity and kindness.

Ali Quli stole the limelight with his amazing performance. He sang songs like “Tu Jaane Na from Ajab Prem ki gazab kahaani” and “bure bure from bluffmaster”. These songs created a beautiful blend of energetic pop and soothing romance. Our audience and our contestants were elated by his stage presence.

Jyoti Yadav had always been a great supporter of women empowerment. A strong, bold, confident and intelligent women herself, she serves as the best brand ambassador to look upto. She said that we all enjoyed this show a lot. Beautiful faces and lovely smiles were seen on the stage. Normally we see tears in the eyes of the winners but here we saw the organizer Dr Neelam getting emotional.

Talking to the media here, the celebrities said that Dr. Neelam and her husband Mr. Kalpesh Paradia have organized such a good and enjoyable event. From Miss to Mrs to Mr. all the contestants worked hard, there were many rounds of competition, in which their talent was tested, they gave their best in the question-and-answer process and showcased our rich heritage and culture in the national costume round. It was a fantastic contest where the contestants were groomed into the beat versions of themselves. It is always tough to judge amongst these talented individuals.

Let us tell you that this contest was an occasion to celebrate for the women of today. This year, the pageant also celebrated the LGBTQ community by having their first ever Trans Contestant. This was a huge moment for the history of pageantry and step towards the progress of the community. This contest is not about the woman’s appearance, height, age, weight etc. The pageant is all about celebrating the power of women. Dr Neelam says that we look for role models and not just models.

It is worth noting that during these two days, 6th and 7th May, participants interacted with international mentors, grooming partners, hairstylists and got their photoshoots done. These two days were special for all, helped them to learn a lot, understand and build confidence in themselves. Funds were also raised here to support the handicapped trust.

Through this platform she has actually promoted the message of unity in diversity which aims at women empowerment as well as this platform has emerged as the voice of many people to support physically handicapped trust.
