INDIA – October 01 2023 – “Bahadur – The Brave,” a groundbreaking film directed by Diwa Shah, made history by becoming the first-ever debut director’s Indian film to win the coveted Kutxabank – New Directors Award at the prestigious 71st San Sebastián International Film Festival. The film, produced by Hardhyaan Films (Visvesh Singh Sehrawat) and Sinai Pictures (Thomas Ajay Abraham), had its world premiere on September 23, 2023, as part of the ‘New Directors’ section at the festival, marking a momentous achievement in the realm of Indian cinema.

‘For having a singular and opportune sociopolitical vision, and for delving into an exciting local story with universal scope, centred around an honest and touching friendship, the jury of the Kutxabank-New Directors award proudly bestows ‘Bahadur – The Brave’ by Diwa Shah with this esteemed honour.’ Eloquently stated, Emily Morgan, Jury President, in her award presentation.

Set against the backdrop of a nationwide lockdown imposed during the COVID-19 pandemic in India, “Bahadur – The Brave” weaves a gripping narrative around the struggles of Nepalese migrant laborers. The film’s protagonist, Hansi, seizes an opportunity to navigate the emerging labour crisis and secure a better future for his ailing son when his brother-in-law, Dil Bahadur, offers him illegal work in a go-down. Diwa Shah’s directorial debut shines a light on the human condition and the relentless pursuit of hope amidst adversity.

Sharing her thoughts on this historic achievement, Diwa stated, “I am deeply humbled and overwhelmed by the honor bestowed upon ‘Bahadur – The Brave’ at the 71st San Sebastián International Film Festival. San Sebastián International Film Festival has a storied history, having hosted some of the most iconic moments in cinema, including the international premiere of Alfred Hitchcock’s “Vertigo” and the recognition of Francis Ford Coppola’s “The Rain People” with the Golden Shell.

“Bahadur – The Brave” joins the ranks of distinguished Indian films screened at the festival, such as Mira Nair’s “Salaam Bombay,” Satyajit Ray’s “Charulata,” Mrinal Sen’s “Antareem,” and Rima Das’s “Village Rockstars.” Notably, it is the first time that a debut Indian director has clinched the Kutxabank – New Directors Award, marking a historic milestone in Indian cinema.

The film also received acclaim at the NFDC Film Bazaar Work-in-progress lab, where it was honoured with the Prasad Lab DI award recently.

The stunning cinematography by Modhura Palit, a recipient of the Pierre Angénieux ExcelLens in Cinematography (Special Encouragement Award for promising cinematographer) at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, adds depth and visual richness to the film.

Ankush Prashant More’s art direction, Komal Rawal’s costume styling (hailing from Nainital), Viraj Zunjarrao’s editing, and the exquisite sound design by Rakesh Janardhan, Thomas Ajay Abraham, and Jishnu Dev have all garnered praise at the premiere in San Sebastián International Film Festival, further cementing “Bahadur the Brave” as a standout achievement in contemporary Indian cinema.

फाइंड स्टूडियोज़ के बैनर तले रेबेका चांगकिजा सेमा द्वारा निर्मित, मैकेनिक दादा को नागालैंड के हेकिशे सेमा ने लिखा है। नागालैंड के रहने वाले एन.के.नागा ने फिल्म में एक गाना गाया है। फ़िल्म के मुख्य कलाकार कार्तिक करण, याना सखलानी, काथु सुमी, पायल पुरकायस्थ और अन्य सहायक कलाकार सभी नार्थ ईस्ट से हैं।

फिल्म का प्रीमियर दीमापुर 2022 में आयोजित नॉर्थईस्ट इंडिया इंटरनेशनल फिल्म फेस्टिवल [एनएफडीसी और आई एंड बी मंत्रालय] में किया गया था। इस फिल्म का एनएफडीसी कॉम्प्लेक्स मुंबई में मार्च 2023 में आयोजित एनईएफएफ, नॉर्थईस्ट फिल्म फेस्टिवल 2023 में आधिकारिक चयन हुआ था।

फ़ाइंड स्टूडियो दीमापुर नागालैंड के रहने वाले रेबेका चांगकिजा सेमा के मार्गदर्शन में पूर्वोत्तर भारत की प्रतिभाओं को बढ़ावा दे रहा है।

रेबेका ने मीडिया को बताया कि वे पिछले कुछ वर्षों से नागालैंड में वर्कशॉप की व्यवस्था कर रहे हैं और हर साल “नॉर्थईस्ट अनसंग हीरोज” का आयोजन भी करते हैं।

फ़ाइंड स्टूडियोज़ पूर्वोत्तर भारत में सक्रिय रूप से शूटिंग प्रदान कर रहा है और उसे बढ़ावा दे रहा है। यह फिल्म अब विभिन्न ओटीटी प्लेटफॉर्म पर रिलीज के लिए तैयार है।

फ़िल्म अभिनेत्री रविरा भारद्वाज को मिला दादा साहेब फाल्के  अवार्ड

खूबसूरत अभिनेत्री रविरा भारद्वाज को दादा साहब फाल्के इंडियन टेलिविजन अवॉर्ड से नवाजा गया इस अवसर पर उन्होंने मीडिया से बातचीत भी की और आपने बारे मे बताया आपको बतादे रविरा बचपन से ही बहुत  उत्कृत्र थी, हमेशा स्कूल और कॉलज में टॉपर रही है l 12वीं कक्षा CBSE में 96.4% प्राप्त किया, और JEE Mains परीक्षा में 14571 रैंक हासिल किया, जिसके कारण Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat में प्रवेश मिला। सिविल इंजीनियरिंग में बहुत रुचि थी क्योंकि ये एक अच्छी डिज़ाइनर थी,इसलिए अभिनेत्री रविरा SVNIT में इसी शाखा को चुना। वे एक ऑल-राउंडर छात्रा थी जो पढ़ाई के साथ-साथ अन्य पाठ्यक्रमिक गतिविधियों और खेल में भी अच्छी हमेशा आगे रही है l

अभिनेत्री रविरा  मनोरंजन उद्योग में करियर के रूप में,  एक खूबसूरत बॉलीवुड अदाकारा है l लास्ट ईयर एक साथ दो  मुख्य फ़िल्में थीं।

 उनमें से एक “ऐसा क्यों” थी, जो कि MX Player, Jio Cinema, Airtel Xstream, Hungama Play, और Vi Movies जैसे शीर्ष 5 OTT प्लेटफ़ॉर्मों पर रिलीज़ हुई, और दूसरी “Listen 2 Dil” थी, जो कि उर्बन गुजराती फ़ीचर फ़िल्म थी और वह 100 दिनों से अधिक सिनेमाघरों में चल रही हैl

और वही एक ZEE TV YouTube चैनल पर रिलीज़ हुआ l तथा एक वायरल वेब शो से आया है, “बेटा हमसे ना हो पायेगा,” जिसमें इन्होने भारती सिंह और जय भानुशाली के साथ मुख्य भूमिका निभाई। इस वेब शो ने सभी सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफ़ॉर्म्स पर 90 मिलियन से ज़्यादा बार देखा जाने वाला है और इससे मुझे बड़ी लोकप्रियता मिली। रविरा एक सफल मॉडल भी है और “मिस गुजरात” और “मिस बोगमलो क्वीन (गोवा)” जैसे खिताब जीत चुकी है । वैसे इन्होने उत्तराखंड फैशन सप्ताह 2021 में शोस्टॉपर की भूमिका भी निभाई थी।

 रविरा का कहना है दादासाहेब फाल्के पुरस्कार मेरे जीवन का एक अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण और गर्वशील पल है। इस पुरस्कार को प्राप्त करने पर मुझे बहुत गर्व और खुशी हो रही है, क्योंकि यह मेरे लिए एक बड़ा सम्मान है और यह साबित करता है कि मेहनत और संघर्ष कभी भी अपरिश्रमित नहीं जाते।

दादासाहेब फाल्के पुरस्कार भारतीय सिनेमा में उत्कृष्टता को प्रमोट करने और प्राशंसा करने का महत्वपूर्ण प्लेटफ़ॉर्म है, और इसे प्राप्त करने से मेरे लिए एक सपने का पूरा होने का आभास हो रहा है। यह मेरे कौशल, संघर्ष, और समर्पण का परिणाम है, और मेरे परिवार और समर्थकों के साथ की गई मेहनत का परिणाम भी है।

मेरे लिए यह पुरस्कार एक महत्वपूर्ण मिलकर की कड़ी मेहनत और समर्पण की प्रतिष्ठा है, और यह मुझे और भी अधिक उत्साहित करता है कि मैं अपने काम में और भी अधिक सफलता प्राप्त कर सकती हूं। इसके साथ ही, यह मेरे लिए और भी बड़ी जिम्मेदारियों का परिचयक है, और मैं इसे सावधानीपूर्वक और संवाद से निभाने का प्रतिबद्ध हूं।

जल्द ही एक म्यूजिक विडिओ रिलीज होने वाला है तो ऑडियंस का बहुत प्यार मिलेगा

वे इस सफलता का पूरा श्रेय आपने माता-पिता को देती है। उन्होंने मेरे जीवन में मार्गदर्शन और समर्थन प्रदान किया है। उनका आशीर्वाद और स्नेह हमेशा मेरे साथ रहा है और मुझे उनके साथ होने पर गर्व है। वे मेरे सफलता के पीछे की ताक़त हैं।
