The 5th edition of Indywood Film Market “IFM-2019” was successfully inaugurated in Hyderabad. After the incredible reception from the film industry experts last year and on popular demand, IFM, this year was a 2-day event, which was on 20th and 21st of November, 2019 at Hyderabad International Convention Centre. The event was inaugurated by the I T Minister of Telangana, K. T. Rama Rao.

After roaring success exhibited in the previous 4 editions, IFM was much bigger, better, and stronger. It Showcased a perfect amalgamation of technology cum entertainment. Indywood Distribution Network with Bala’s Theatrical Rights successfully enters the second week of its run in UAE and GCC Countries

Dubai: It has been a week since the release of Ayushmann Khurrana’s  Bala is running successfully in the box-office. The movie continues in a good number of screens in the UAE and other GCC Countries with high occupancy. The film has been well received with positive reviews and praises have been showered upon the actor.

‘Bala’ is Ayushmann’s biggest release till date. The film released across 3000 screens in India and more than 550 screens in the overseas markets.

Indywood Distribution Network owns the distribution rights of the overseas market and is all set to release the movie in Saudi Arabia on 14th November.

Ayushmann Khurrana, who has given 6 consecutive hits, is coming back to the screen after a brief break with Bala. The actor will be joined by two of his phenomenal co-stars Bhumi Pednekar and YamiGautam.

Actors Seema Pahwa and Javed Jaffrey also play a pivotal role in the film. Bala attempts to take a satirical twist on a middle-aged man suffering from hair receding through slapstick comedy.

Bhumi will play his love interest in the film. Helmed by director Amar Kaushik, the movie is produced by Dinesh Vijan.

Its really astonishing that a country which makes around 1800 movies every year, which is almost half of the total movies made around the world fail so miserably in the Oscar race. So far, a few movies Slumdog Millionaire, Life of Pi and Gandhi have resulted in Indians winning Oscars. But that too were conceptualized, produced and directed by Non-Indians.

Yes it is true that winning Oscar after a tough competition is a big deal. But being in the list of Oscar contending movies is equally important as it plays a pivotal role in winning the race. This year total 347 feature films have been officially declared eligible to contend for Best Picture. People, who worked behind Aickarakkonathe bhishaguaranmaar, can keep their heads held high and be very proud as it’s been selected to contend for nomination at 2019 Oscars. Besides the Best Picture category the movie is also eligible to contend for Other General categories including acting categories (lead and supporting roles), Direction, Production Design, Film Editing, Sound Design, Sound Mixing, Cinematography, Costume Design and Writing (Original and Adapted).

Aickarakkonathe bhishaguaranmaar, was a CSR movie directed by Biju Majeed and produced by Abhini Sohan Roy under the banner of Aries Telecasting Pvt Ltd. Initiated by Indywood Consortium, the project has been designed by Mr Sohan Roy and written by Shibu Raj. K. The cinematography of the movie, which features a total of 175 newcomers in prominent roles, was handled by P.C Lal. While B R Bijuram composed the music, the editing was done by Johnson Iringole.

The film’s cast include Vipin Mangalashery,Samarth Ambujakshan, Sivaji Guruvayoor,Lalu Alex, Jaffer Idukki,Sunil Sukhada, Sinseer Mohammed Koya, Shyam Kurup, Johnson Iringole ,Mukesh Nair, Seema G. Nair, Miya Sree,Hridhya Nigelesh, Lakshmi Atul and Nisha Joseph.

The movie emphasizes on the 5,000 year old system of natural healing called ‘Ayurveda’ which is enjoying a major resurgence in both its native land and all over the world. Besides the theme, the movie utilized 100% of its revenue for flood relief and rehabilitation activities in Kerala, which witnessed one of the worst natural disasters in the history of the state recently, and for the support those in the film industry, who were affected by the floods.
