Fabelle Exquisite Chocolates reimagine Flavours of India in six unique chocolate bars to commemorate India’s 73rd Independence Day

600 limited edition handcrafted chocolate bars unveiled in 6 cities as a unique 73 Kg chocolate installation

Mumbai, 14th August 2019: India’s home-grown luxury chocolate brand, Fabelle Chocolates, one of the most celebrated Indian chocolate brand and a trend setter in the luxury chocolate segment, will commemorate India’s 73rd Independence Day with a first-of-its-kind, limited edition chocolate rangeunveiled today at ITC Maratha. With this masterpiece, Fabelle pays tribute to India’s rich food culture and diverse tastes by identifying hero ingredients from across the country and pairing them with White, Milk, Dark and Ruby Chocolate. In order to develop these chocolates, Fabelle divided the country into six zones namely Northern Himalayan Region, Thar Dessert, Indo Gangetic Plains, Central Plains, Deccan Plateau and Coastal Regions and created six chocolate bars, each representing the flavours of a region mentioned respectively as below:

Northern Himalayan Region – Dark Chocolate smoked with Tea and Pink Himalayan Salt

Thar Desert – Ruby Chocolate with Toasted Sesame, Salted Peanuts and Toasted Amaranth

Gangetic Plains  – Milk Chocolate with Jaggery powder and crunchy Puffed Rice

Central Plains –  Dark Chocolate with Candied Orange Peel blended with Raisins

Deccan Plateau – White Chocolate with Coffee and Cardamom Powder effusion

Coastal Regions – Milk Chocolate with Desiccated Coconut powder and Candied Mango

Across top 6 cities, 600 such bars were tirelessly handcrafted by Fabelle Master Chocolatiers in a larger-than-life 73 kg chocolate installation to commemorate the 73rd Independence Day. These chocolate bars will be unveiled on 15th of August and will be available for sale until 18th August 2019 in the Chocolate Boutique at ITC Maratha. To bring this inimitable chocolate experience closer to consumers, the magnanimous chocolate bar installation will also be displayed at V R Mall, Bengaluru in the form of a chocolate installation.

 

Each chocolate bar is priced at Rs 265 and to make the occasion sweeter, Fabelle Chocolates will be donating proceeds from the sale of these bars to Make-A-Wish Foundation of India, a non-profit organization which works towards supporting deserving children to lead a richer life by fulfilling their wishes.

Make-A-Wish has granted over 334,000 wishes worldwide to some very deserving children. It’s a great initiative from Fabelle Chocolates, as children love chocolates and celebrating Independence Day with Fabelle chocolates made the celebration sweeter for them. Last year Fabelle and Make-A-Wish Foundation have fulfilled wishes for 40 kids of their educational requirements and this year with the proceeds raised from our association with Fabelle, we are hopeful to fulfil several more precious wishes for kids this year as we celebrate the 73rd Independence Day.

Prachi Tehlan, who is all set to debut in Mollywood with Mamangam, opposite superstar Mammootty, is pained at seeing the condition of Kerala post the floods. In a video that she uploaded on Tuesday, she is seen appealing to people to contribute generously towards the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund.

“I have spent almost two years shooting in Kerala, that it pains my heart to see the condition of the state now. Keralites are warm and loving people and I pray that all suffering ends soon,” she said in the video.

When we spoke to her, she said, “A lot of my fans have been sending photos of their flooded houses and are requesting me to pray for them. It is really sad. I have done my bit of contribution to the CM fund, and am urging others to do the same through whichever way I can. These days, my Insta stories are all about artworks, the sales of which will be donated to the flood victims,” the girl with the golden heart said. Prachi has an event scheduled in Kerala, which is being delayed because of the rains. “I hope the situation gets better soon so that I can visit my favourite state at the earliest,” she signed off.’

Adhoore Adhoore is a romantic melodious song starring Indian Television actor Shakti Arora and model Chandini in a stellar music video directed by actor turned director Aslam Khan, known for his histrionics in films like Nayee Padosan and Welcome Back among others, released today on zee music. The song was shot at Atharva College, Malad. Sung and composed by Shree D, the song is about a couple who start living together and later land in separation due to their personal egos, coming to realize that they are complete in being ‘adhoore’ (incomplete).

The music video director Aslam Khan averred, “If you have a look at the music video, you will realize it is like a film, a six minute long film. It has a beginning, a midpoint and a definite end, albeit, with an incomplete touch to it… a perfect storyboard with an incomplete end.” On working with Shakti Arora and Chandni , Aslam Khan professed that they have been brilliant. “This song needed Shakti and Chandni only. They have performed really well on this track. It has been a wonderful experience,” he added.

Shakti Arora, who has made his mark on the Indian television scene with shows like Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hai and Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka, confessed that at first he thought it was just another song! “When I went through it, repeatedly hearing it, I came to realize that the song has a soul of its own. It has a Sufi-ish, feel-good, and the perfect choice for a long drive feel to it.”  A happy and gorgeous Chandni said “After being a part of a couple of upbeat party songs, when I first heard Adhoore Adhoore it struck a chord with me. The way Aslam and the whole team has picturised it, it’s beautiful and being featured opposite an amazing actor like Shakti Arora is just perfect! I hope everyone likes this song as much as I did ”

 ADHOORE is Aslam Khan’s twenty-fifth directorial venture. On being asked what he felt was different about working in front and behind camera, he expressed “Both are fantastic but there are many differences though. This I have realized because I am now working behind the camera. Just because I have been an actor myself, I know about all the nuances a director should take care of.”

“There goes a saying, ‘All’s well, that ends well’. I am glad it has actually shaped up the way I wanted it,” summed up Aslam Khan.
