उत्तर प्रदेश की आध्यात्मिक नगरी और संस्कृति का अटूट केंद्र वाराणसी में भोजपुरी सिनेमा के एक नए अध्याय की शुरुआत भोजपुरी फिल्म ‘केवट’ के रूप में हो गई है। जी हाँ! प्रसिद्ध म्यूजिक कंपनी और फिल्म प्रोडक्शन हॉउस वर्ल्डवाइड रिकार्ड्स लिमिटेड (Worldwide Records Limited) के बैनर तले बन रही बहुप्रतीक्षित भोजपुरी फिल्म ‘केवट’ की शूटिंग महादेव की नगरी में पूरी भव्यता के साथ जोर शोर से की जा रही है। इस फिल्म का निर्माण जाने-माने निर्माता रत्नाकर कुमार कर रहे हैं, जबकि निर्देशन की कमान निर्देशक अनंजय रघुराज के हाथों में है। खास बात यह है कि इस फिल्म को विश्व प्रसिद्ध भजन सम्राट और पद्म श्री से सम्मानित गायक अनूप जलोटा और रत्नाकर कुमार मिलकर प्रस्तुत कर रहे हैं। फिल्म में मुख्य भूमिका निभा रही भोजपुरी की सशक्त अभिनेत्री माही श्रीवास्तव इन दिनों वाराणसी के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों, घाटों और गलियों में फिल्म की शूटिंग में व्यस्त हैं। माही का किरदार इस फिल्म की धुरी बताया जा रहा है। शूटिंग के दौरान माही श्रीवास्तव की अदाकारी और उनके समर्पण को देखकर निर्देशक काफी प्रभावित नजर आ रहे हैं। वाराणसी की पावन पृष्ठभूमि फिल्म के दृश्यों को एक अलग ही दिव्यता प्रदान कर रही है। मजबूत तकनीकी टीम और अनुभवी कलाकार के साथ इस फिल्म की मेकिंग में किसी भी प्रकार का समझौता नहीं किया जा रहा है। इस फिल्म के लेखक राकेश त्रिपाठी, डीओपी  के. वेंकट महेश, गीतकार मनोज भावुक, संगीत  साजन मिश्रा ने दिया हैं।  वहीं फिल्म में भोजपुरी के लोकप्रिय कलाकार पवन पांडेय, माही श्रीवास्तव, विद्या सिंह, संदीप यादव और शम्भू राणा प्रमुख भूमिका में हैं। फिल्म के पीआरओ ब्रजेश मेहर, रामचन्द्र यादव हैं।

इस फिल्म को लेकर अनूप जलोटा ने कहा, ‘फिल्म केवट की कहानी और इसकी भावनाएं दर्शकों के दिलों को जरूर छू लेंगी। मुझे खुशी है कि मैं इस खास प्रोजेक्ट का हिस्सा हूं।’ उन्होंने आगे कहा कि यह फिल्म मनोरंजन के साथ-साथ भारतीय संस्कृति और मूल्यों को भी दर्शाएगी, जो दर्शकों को खास अनुभव देगी।

फिल्म को लेकर निर्माता रत्नाकर कुमार ने कहा, ‘हमारा प्रयास हमेशा से ऐसी कहानियों को दर्शकों तक पहुँचाना रहा है, जो न केवल मनोरंजन करें बल्कि हमारी जड़ों से भी जोड़ें। ‘केवट’ भावनाओं, लोक-संस्कृति और आधुनिक सिनेमाई तकनीक का एक उत्कृष्ट मिश्रण है। हम इसे बड़े कैनवास पर शूट कर रहे हैं ताकि दर्शकों को एक नया सिनेमाई अनुभव मिल सके।’

Priyanka Raina told, “We wanted to give Chai a Tradition, as every morning we want BED TEA, considered as Energy drink for many Indians” . She continues,  “The thought arrived on New Year 1st of Jan, as wakd up early and go for Morning Jogs. I was talking to my selves on  seeing First Wind of Year, First Rains of the year, First sunrise and finally First Chai,  then thought on Chai only one song is there which is going on all stories – EK GARAM CHAI KI PIYALI.. …Why not create one? ”

After this Music part and Discussed with Music Director InderPal Singh,  he liked idea and took two weeks and finally our song was made.

Noida: The formal inauguration of the AAFT School of Fine Arts, one of the most dynamic and creative departments of Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT), was conducted with great enthusiasm at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida, during the 14th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2026.

The School was inaugurated by Meenakshi Lekhi, Former Minister of State for External Affairs and Minister of State for Culture, Government of India, in the presence of distinguished dignitaries including Dr. Neeraj A. Sharma, Hon. Consul General of the Palau.

A massive display of paintings and artworks created by the students of AAFT was showcased on the occasion, reflecting exceptional creativity, technical excellence, and diverse artistic expression. The exhibition was widely appreciated by the guests and attendees.

New Delhi: In a significant diplomatic and cultural engagement during the AI Impact Summit in the national capital, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder of Film City Noida and President of Marwah Studios, held a special meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, David Lammy, at the British Council.
